The best web design agency in Singapore depends on your budget and the kind of site you need. For small business sites with published prices, start with SBWD (from S$2,500), 8Clicks (from S$2,900) or Lemonade (one-page sites from S$1,500). For e-commerce, look at Awebstar, Verz Design or Hunters Digital. For design-led brand sites, consider Hello Pomelo or Creativeans. For B2B and enterprise builds, Orfeostory, Construct Digital, IMPACT! and Brainvire are stronger fits. We re-checked every agency below on 6 October 2026.

What’s changed in 2026:

  • Enterprise Singapore closed the PSG, EDG and MRA grants on 29 September 2026. The EDGE Grant replaced them on 30 September. Many agency pages still advertise “PSG 50% off”; those offers are out of date.
  • Three agencies from our previous list were removed because we could not confirm a current Singapore presence: Konpo, Softuvo and The Emms.
  • WordPress 7.0 shipped on 20 May 2026 with built-in AI features. Ask your agency which version they will build on and who handles updates.
  • Google ran core updates in March–April and May–June 2026, plus several spam updates. Thin, template-copy sites lost ground. A new site needs real content, not just a design.
  • More agencies now publish starting prices. That makes it easier to shortlist before you ask for quotes.

How much does web design cost in Singapore (2026)?

Prices vary widely because “a website” can mean a one-page brochure or a full online store. The ranges below come from agencies’ own published packages and 2026 Singapore cost guides. Unless stated, figures exclude 9% GST.

Project type Typical range Source
One-page website S$1,500 to S$2,500 Chillybin cost guide (May 2026); Lemonade from S$1,500
Small business site, 1–7 pages (package) From S$2,500 to S$3,300 SBWD Starter from S$2,500; 8Clicks Starter from S$2,900, Professional from S$3,300
3–5 page custom WordPress site S$2,500 to S$5,000 Lemonade cost guide
WordPress template site S$4,000 to S$6,000 Chillybin cost guide
Custom-designed business site S$6,000 to S$12,000+ Chillybin cost guide
Corporate site, 10–20 pages S$7,000 to S$25,000 ALF Design Group (S$7k–15k+); Lemonade (S$8k–25k)

Maintenance per year S$500 to S$2,500 MediaPlus cost guide

Shopify platform fees About S$42, S$113 or S$432 a month by plan Soodo Shopify pricing guide

What pushes the price up:

  • Custom design. A design made from scratch costs more than a customised theme. It also takes longer.
  • Page count and content. Copywriting, photography and product uploads are often extra.
  • Integrations. Payment gateways, booking systems, CRMs and ERPs add development time.
  • Multiple languages. English plus Chinese or Malay roughly means building the content twice.
  • Ongoing costs. Hosting, security updates and backups recur every year. Budget for them before you choose.

Can a grant pay for it? Not reliably. PSG, EDG and MRA stopped taking new applications on 29 September 2026. The EDGE Grant replaced them on 30 September. Enterprise Singapore’s FAQ says EDGE gives up to 50% general support for SMEs, capped at S$100,000 per company each year. It does not list websites or e-commerce as a separate qualifying activity. Lemonade also notes that PSG never covered brochure websites. Ask Enterprise Singapore, not the agency, if your project qualifies.

How we chose

We did not commission websites from these agencies or test their work in a project. We reviewed public evidence on 6 October 2026 and kept agencies that met most of these criteria:

  • Confirmed operating in Singapore. A working website and a Singapore address or contact. Agencies we could not confirm were removed.
  • Portfolio. Named clients and live sites we could look at.
  • Years operating. Founding years from agency sites, Clutch or business registries.
  • Published pricing. Agencies that publish starting prices score higher for transparency. We write “quote-based” where they do not.
  • Independent reviews. We checked Clutch, Google and other review sources. We only report ratings we actually saw. Ratings an agency shows on its own site are labelled as self-reported.

Some listings on SingaReviews are paid placements. Payment affects where an agency appears in the list. It does not change the facts we report, and we do not publish ratings or reviews we could not see.

Which agency should you choose?

  • You need a simple site on a fixed budget: SBWD, 8Clicks or Lemonade. All three publish prices.
  • You are a local service business that also needs SEO: Best Web Design Singapore or Cleverly SG.
  • You are launching an online store: 8Clicks or SBWD for a WooCommerce package; Awebstar or Verz Design for Shopify.
  • You run a large e-commerce operation with ERP: Brainvire.
  • You want a custom WordPress site you can maintain long term: Chillybin, Lemonade or Hello Pomelo.
  • You are rebranding at the same time: Creativeans, Hello Pomelo or DVIGA.
  • You are a B2B, tech or healthcare company: IMPACT! or Construct Digital.
  • You are a law firm, school, charity or property company: Orfeostory.
  • You are a start-up that wants clear package inclusions: Hunters Digital.

Red flags to watch for

  • “PSG-approved, 50% off” in 2026. PSG closed to new applications on 29 September 2026. Any agency still selling this needs to show current paperwork.
  • The agency owns your domain or hosting account. Register the domain in your company’s name. Get admin logins for the site and hosting.
  • No portfolio of live sites. Screenshots are not enough. Ask for links to sites still online and test them on your phone.
  • A quote with no scope. You should see page count, features, revision rounds, content responsibilities and timeline in writing.
  • No plan for maintenance. WordPress and plugins need regular updates. Ask who patches the site and what it costs per year.
  • Locked or unusual platforms. Ask whether another developer could take over the site later. Proprietary systems can trap you.
  • Guaranteed first-page Google rankings. No agency can promise this. Google’s 2026 core updates hit thin, template-copy sites.
  • Full payment upfront. Staged payments tied to milestones protect both sides.
  • The agency is not really in Singapore. Check the address and phone. Several agencies on older lists only have overseas offices.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does web design cost in Singapore?

A simple one-page site costs about S$1,500 to S$2,500. A small business site with five to seven pages usually starts from S$2,500 to S$5,000. A 10 to 20-page corporate site costs about S$7,000 to S$25,000. E-commerce sites range from about S$3,900 for a package to over S$40,000 for a custom build.

Which is the best web design company in Singapore?

There is no single best agency for every business. For a fixed budget, SBWD, 8Clicks and Lemonade publish clear prices. For Shopify, Verz Design and Awebstar are strong. For B2B and institutions, Orfeostory and Construct Digital have the strongest track records here.

How do I choose a web design agency in Singapore?

Shortlist three agencies whose portfolios match your industry. Ask each for a written scope, timeline and maintenance cost. Check independent reviews on Clutch or Google. Confirm you will own the domain, hosting account and site files.

Should I hire a web design agency or a freelancer?

A freelancer can be cheaper for a simple site. An agency gives you a team, backup if someone leaves, and ongoing support. For online stores or sites that drive sales, an agency is usually the safer choice.

How much does an e-commerce website cost in Singapore?

Entry e-commerce packages start from about S$3,900 (8Clicks) to S$6,500 (SBWD). A semi-custom Shopify store costs about S$4,000 to S$10,000. Fully custom stores cost S$10,000 to S$40,000 or more. Add platform fees, payment fees and maintenance.

How long does it take to build a website?

A small template site can launch in about four weeks. Lemonade, for example, quotes four weeks for a five-page package. Custom designs take around eight weeks. Larger sites with 15 or more pages can take three to four months.

How much does website maintenance cost in Singapore?

Expect about S$50 to S$150 a month for a brochure site. A CMS site with regular updates costs about S$150 to S$400 a month. E-commerce sites cost more, often S$400 to S$1,200 a month. Hosting alone is usually S$150 to S$600 a year.

Can I still get the PSG grant for a website?

No new PSG applications are accepted after 29 September 2026. The EDGE Grant replaced it from 30 September. It gives up to 50% general support for SMEs, capped at S$100,000 per company per year. Enterprise Singapore does not list websites as a separate qualifying activity, so check with them directly.

Do I own my website after it is built?

You should, but only if your contract says so. Make sure the domain is registered to your company. Ask for full admin access and a copy of the site files. Check whether themes or plugins are licensed to you or to the agency.
