Kallang Water Park (Splash-N-Surf at Kallang Wave Mall) is closed. The lazy river and Stingray surf simulator shut from 31 December 2025. The kids’ water playground followed from 31 March 2026. A new water playscape is expected to open in the first quarter of 2027. Until then, the best family water parks in Singapore are Adventure Cove, Wild Wild Wet, Aqua Adventure, Waterworks and the free Clusia Cove.
What’s changed in 2026
- Splash-N-Surf is closed. The lazy river and Stingray closed from 31 Dec 2025, and the kids’ water playground from 31 Mar 2026.
- A new playscape is coming. Kallang Wave Mall’s revamp will replace the old playground with larger water installations and a dry play zone, expected in Q1 2027.
- Aqua Adventure is weekends only. Its official page now lists Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, 10am to 7.30pm.
- Science Centre is moving. The new Science Centre at Jurong Lake Gardens is due in Q4 2027. Waterworks stays open at the current site until then.

Kallang Water Park (Splash-N-Surf): current status
Splash-N-Surf sat on Level 3 of Kallang Wave Mall at the Singapore Sports Hub (now The Kallang). It had a free kids’ water playground, a paid lazy river and the Stingray surf simulator.
The Kallang’s official page lists both areas as closed:
- Lazy River and Stingray: closed from 31 December 2025.
- Kids Water Playground: closed from 31 March 2026.
Time Out Singapore reported in April 2026 that the playground will become a multi-sensory playscape. It will have larger water installations and a kinetic dry play zone. Reopening is expected in the first quarter of 2027. Check The Kallang’s Splash-N-Surf page for the confirmed date.

Adventure Cove is Resorts World Sentosa’s water park, open since 2012. It is the most complete water park in Singapore for a full family day.
Riptide Rocket is a hydro-magnetic coaster for older kids and adults. Adventure River is a lazy river through 14 themed zones. At Rainbow Reef you can snorkel with around 20,000 reef fish. Young children have the Big Bucket Treehouse.
Outdoor attractions pause during bad weather. The Marine Mammal Habitat is closed for maintenance from 1 to 18 November 2026. Outside food and drinks are not allowed. Buy tickets on the RWS website for current prices.

Aqua Adventure is Singapore’s first integrated all-weather water adventure centre. It is indoors and spans three storeys, so rain does not stop play. Its Black Hole Slide is billed as the longest indoor water slide in Singapore.
It suits older kids, teens and adults. Riders must be at least 125cm tall and weigh 30kg to 120kg. Children under 12 need an adult with them in the pool.

Waterworks is an outdoor water play exhibit at Science Centre Singapore. It mixes splash play with simple science.
The Water Clock Tower carries an anemometer, a windsock and a rain gauge. Kids can see how wind, rain and water pressure work while they play. It is gentler than a slide park and good for younger children.
Bring swimwear and sun protection. The Science Centre moves to Jurong Lake Gardens in Q4 2027, and Waterworks stays open at the current site until then.

Wild Wild Wet is the largest outdoor water park in eastern Singapore. It opened in 2004 at NTUC Downtown East and was expanded in 2017.
Thrill-seekers can try Royal Flush, billed as Asia’s first hybrid ride, and the four-lane Kraken Racer mat slide. Families can float down Shiok River or stay in the kids’ zone.
The park runs promotions through 2026, including Splash Fest (1 September to 31 October). NTUC members get member rates. Check the website for opening hours, ticket prices and any rides closed for upgrades.
Clusia Cove (Jurong Lake Gardens)

Clusia Cove is a free water playground at the north end of Lakeside Garden. Its pools fill and drain like a tide, so it feels closer to a beach than a pool.
It is the closest free alternative to the old Kallang kids’ water playground. It suits toddlers and young children. Hours may change for maintenance, so check NParks before you go.
