Pasir Panjang Power Station is open as a ticketed events venue at 27 Pasir Panjang Road, Singapore 117537. The red-brick Power Station A is managed by music and culture company 24OWLS. It is not a drop-in attraction, so plan your visit around a concert, festival or exhibition.

What’s changed in 2026

• The venue is still active, with gigs booked through November 2026 (ARTBAT, Mall Grab and Dom Dolla).
• Power Station A is run by 24OWLS, which also runs the Flock at Kampong Java arts space.
• The wider 15-hectare Power District is still slated for long-term redevelopment under the Greater Southern Waterfront plan. No closure date has been announced.

History: Power Station A and B

Pasir Panjang Power Station opened on 3 July 1953. It was Singapore’s second power station.

Municipal Architect Donald Cameron Rae designed it. Builders used close to two million locally made bricks and steel imported from the UK.

Pasir Panjang “B” Power Station was added on the same site in 1965 to meet rising demand. Station A was decommissioned in the mid-1980s and Station B in the late 1990s.

The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) and the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) ran the “Power-Up Pasir Panjang” ideas competition in 2019. It drew 79 entries, which were exhibited at the URA Centre in early 2020.

Events at Pasir Panjang Power Station

The venue is best known for large electronic music nights and touring gigs. Past acts include Fred Again.. (2025), Jamie xx (2024) and Central Cee.

Both stations are a walk along Pasir Panjang Road. Allow time to queue at the gate on big concert nights.
