Best Water Purifiers and Dispensers in Singapore
The best water purifiers and dispensers in Singapore for most homes are tankless, direct-piped units with hot and cold water. Good picks include Hydroflux, Purehan, focuswater, Ruhens, Wells and Cosmo. In October 2026 these sell for roughly S$900 to S$2,000 before add-ons. Mayer has filtered countertop dispensers from under S$200 for renters who cannot pipe in. Puricare is a good fit for offices that prefer rental.
What’s changed in 2026
- BWT has been removed. We could not find any dated activity from its Singapore site in the past 12 months.
- Wells has opened a new Experience Centre at Tradehub 21 in Boon Lay, alongside its Paya Lebar showroom.
- Contact numbers have changed for Aqua Kent, focuswater, Mayer, Purehan, Puricare and Ruhens. All details below were re-checked on 7 October 2026.
- We’ve added current prices from each brand’s own website where they publish one.
How to choose a water purifier or dispenser
- Direct piping or bottled: Direct-piped (tankless) units connect to your tap line, so you never change bottles. Countertop units with a refill tank need no installation and suit rental flats.
- Temperatures: Check how many preset temperatures you get. Some units have settings for formula milk, tea and coffee.
- Filtration and sterilisation: Look at the number of filter stages and whether the unit has UV or auto-sterilisation.
- Running costs: Ask how often filters need changing, what replacements cost, and whether free filters come with the unit.
- Service: Check the warranty length and whether the brand has a local service team and showroom.
