The best POS system in Singapore depends on your business. EPOS, MEGAPOS, Qashier and Eats365 suit cafés and restaurants. Hike and Epoint suit retail shops. HashMicro and HP suit larger firms that want ERP or hardware. We re-checked every listing on 8 October 2026 and removed three we could not confirm.

What’s changed in 2026

  • The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) closed on 29 Sep 2026. The EDGE Grant replaced it from 30 Sep 2026.
  • Enterprise Singapore says EDGE gives SMEs up to 70% support, depending on the activity, within S$100,000 a year per company.
  • Epoint and EPOS now advertise EDGE support on their websites. Some vendors still show PSG wording, so ask before you sign.
  • Qashier now sells one flat plan of $5 a day, according to its own 2026 blog.
  • Removed: Oracle NetSuite (its POS products are being retired), Prima Computer Systems and Weebo (no recent evidence of activity).
  • Added: Eats365, with a current Singapore website and sales line.

How to choose a POS system in Singapore

Start with your business type. F&B shops need table management, kitchen order tickets and split bills. Retail shops need barcode scanning, stock counts and loyalty tools.

Check that the vendor supports cloud access, your payment methods and your accounting software. Ask for a demo or trial before you commit. Do not pick on price alone.

Ask every vendor for the full cost: hardware, monthly subscription, payment fees and support. Prices change often, so get a written quote.
